Zion Field Evangelistic Ministries, founded in 1996 by Pastor Leslie Crockett, Jr., is located at 24105 Berra Street in Plaquemine, LA - right on the levee by the Mississippi River! Those of us from the area know it as "the Fort"!
Our ministry was founded on the principle that obedience to God in prayer changes things, as demonstrated in the life of our pastor! Despite his situation at the time, he never gave up on God, therefore God NEVER gave up on him! Because of his obedience & diligence, the church has grown into something amazing! Not only do we have our weekly Sunday service, but we have a children's ministry that meets every Saturday, bible study/mid-week service every Thursday, foundation class once a month on Friday & so many other things that God uses to bring His Word to His people!
We have a "house" full of ministers who bring the Word with the authority God has given them, with more to come soon! Our deacons are upstanding men of God who help & support our pastor, making his job "easier"! Zion Field's Praise & Worship Team sings with voices of angels as they minister in song! Our ushers will greet you with love & joy in their warm smiles! So many others minister to people who are in jail, in hospitals & nursing homes. They go out to the street to bring the Word of God to everyone who crosses their paths! The bible says "he who has an ear, let him hear" (Matthew 11:15) & our people aren't willing to leave anyone behind! So many people are being blessed by the Word being taught at Zion Field! Ask around & people will testify about how obedience, faith in God & the hope in Him that we have through grace & the sacrifice of Jesus Christ is making a difference in their lives! We truly have a ministry like no other!
